Dominique Hammons is a young, energetic, Contemporary/Jazz Violinist who is a Houston native and started playing classical violin at the age of 8.
His popularity has risen in high demand to perform at many venues and performs various genres of music such as classical, pop, gospel, jazz, hip hop and R&B. His unique blend of music and style has granted him to perform across the nation such as Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Illinois, and Washington State.
Tahirah is a soulful singer-songwriter known for her powerful vocals and emotive performances, blending R&B, jazz, and soul influences in her music. With her dynamic tones, soulful melodies and cryptic but honest references Tahirah has the uncanny ability to relate to an audience using her voice to creatively and musically “to express feelings behind songs in ways that delight and surprise and move…”.
With roots in a jazz through her Grammy-winning father, a chaotic upbringing, an intense sense of feel, a love for old soul, an open ear for all music, and a respect for current rhythm and blues, Tahirah’s sound is unlike any other, sounding distinctly like her personal truth.
Most recently, Tahirah was featured in the 2022 PDX Jazz Fest, opening for headliner Robert Glasper, sang alongside Eric Benét at the 2022 Vanport Jazz Festival, and was an artist on the 2023 Capital Jazz Supercruise.
